Triumph has many different types of neck systems, this system works only with the removable plastic cap and the single rod, it hasn't been tested with the twin rod protection yet. For single rod, follow the pictures and move aside the central rod thus obtaining the best mounting of the filter. Additional Information about TRIUMPH Fuel Filter:

The original system has a strainer working between 40 and 60 microns, nylon mesh, totally inadequate to protect the fuel pump that sees its life shortening by the Km. This filtration level will both preserve the fuel pump and prolong fuel original filter life avoiding nasty surprises.
